Traffic concerns continue to be expressed by our neighbors. One area of concern has been the area where 42nd Street and Spindle Ridge merge at the north entrance. A few years ago the neighbors whose homes were near that area signed a petition requesting that a stop sign be placed for vehicles entering the neighborhood from Highway 66. I gathered that information and submitted it to the Oklahoma City Traffic Commission. The stop sign was denied, but after much more communications with the city, we were granted a Yield sign for traffic merging from Spindle Ridge to NW 42nd Street. A stop sign for those leaving the neighborhood onto Highway 66, and a speed limit sign for those entering the neighborhood.
